Shaolin Punk and Melbourne Museum are proud to present the Melbourne Museum Comedy Tour as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival!

Join Ben McKenzie (the Man in the Lab Coat) and the cream of Melbourne’s geeky comedians for science, history and laughter as you wander the spooky silent halls of Melbourne Museum after closing time. There you’ll meet such amazing inmates as CSIRAC, a room-sized computer which couldn’t beat your mobile phone at chess, and Amargasaurus, the dinosaur with a mohawk who predated punk by 120 million years.

Caution: you may learn something on this tour…

Watch this site for more details, including line-ups, in the coming weeks. The basic details are below:

Where: Melbourne Museum
When: 6pm, March 26th to April 4th, Wednesday to Friday
Tickets: $15 full, $10 concession, $10 groups (6 or more)
Bookings: Ticketmaster 1300 660 013, www.comedyfestival.com.au or at the door (tickets on sale soon)

Due to an unavoidable clash with another Shaolin Punk project (to be announced shortly), six performances of A Record or an OBE for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival have been cancelled. However, we have added four more performances on Sundays during the festival, so you still have plenty of opportunity to attend! There are no changes to the Adelaide Fringe schedule.

The updated dates for the Comedy Festival season are:

March 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30 and April 1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13

These have been amended on the the show details page.

Tickets for the Adelaide Fringe season of A Record or an OBE are now on sale! You can book tickets via the Fringe web site; head straight to the A Record or an OBE Event Details page, but if you want a particular night, get in quick: one night (Wednesday, March 5) has already sold out!

Dates, times and venues have all been confirmed for A Record or an OBE’s Adelaide Fringe and Comedy Festival seasons, and here are the details. Note that bookings aren’t yet open for either season; we’ll let you know when you can buy tickets! We’ll be in the Adelaide Fringe guide when it’s released on January 9, too.
