Dungeons & Dragons: The Opera - the Kitchen Table Version, by none other than Australian comedy legends Tripod! Yes, Australia's favourite musical comedy trio have cooked up a full-on musical celebrating everything we love about the world's first role-playing game. This is an early version of the show - hence the "kitchen table" sub-title. It's a sort of preview version before it heads to the US for it's proper world premiere, though it sounds like it's still going to be full on. If only +1 Sword were so lucky... Anyway, it's bound to be awesome, so check it out! It runs from November 8 to 11. We'll probably see you there...

Wow! I remember a few years back they were in some TV sketch show awhile back, and just out of the blue they did a couple of roleplay jokes and I was thinking ‘Whoa, did that just come up on mainstream TV?’
I don’t think it’s luck so much – they’ve been building up career momentum for some time. You can have brilliant material, but without momentum, no one knows you have it!
Oh, and from what I’ve heard Prince Valiant was the first roleplay game ever
