The Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2010 web site and programme have been launched – and you might notice, if you care to look at the list of all shows, that first on the list is a certain little nerdcore duo show…
Yes, +1 Sword returns for the MICF – and that’s not all! We’re also doing a late night, improvised adventure show: Dungeon Crawl! This new, three nights only show will feature more of the fantasy role-playing mayhem you can expect in +1 Sword, with guests from around the Festival taking on the challenge to kill the the monsters and steal their stuff. Along the way we’ll hear all about their own experiences playing Dungeons & Dragons and everything.
And if you’re after more fantasy adventure comedy than even two Shaolin Punk shows can provide, don’t forget Tripod’s newly renamed musical, Tripod versus the Dragon.
2010 also marks the return of the Melbourne Museum Comedy Tour – as well as more museum-based comedy at lunchtime! In fact there’s so much Museum Comedy that it needs it’s own web site to keep track of it, so say hello to…er…Museum Comedy!
Tickets will go on sale for all four shows very soon.
