Tonight, the Dungeon Crawl begins again! Join your Dungeon Master Ben McKenzie and his monstrous companion Richard McKenzie as they run a team of guest comedians through an improvised fantasy adventure. Tonight, we’ll be joined by McGuffin star Kate O’Neill (Two in a Million), Hounds alumni Adam McKenzie (yes, that makes three McKenzies), and director and actor Scott Gooding (Eric, A Study in Scarlet (A Study Of), The Gift Horse), and brilliantly whimsical funny man Bart Freebairn (A Breathtaking Magical Journey into the Ordinary).

Shaolin Punk would like to send a huge shout out to all the audience members who came along to [intlink id="524" type="page"]McGuffin[/intlink] and made our first season an incredible thrill ride of religious artefacts, ruthless corporations, dairy deals and fallen angels. We never could have predicted where we’d end up, and our writers’ room proved a fruitful ground for inspiration. If you missed any of the action, watch this site for the eventual unveiling of the McGuffin episode guide and wiki!

Word from the producers is that they’re giving us the age-old feedback: “That was good. Now do it again.” There will be more McGuffin, but it looks likely that next time around we’ll be starting from scratch – so you’ll have your chance to influence the genre, mood, style and direction of a whole new series about a man with no memory.

To all involved in the production of McGuffin – Chris, Gina, Kate, Sean and Adam – thank you too. We’ll see you all next time!

Don’t forget, though, that this isn’t the end for Shaolin Punk’s run in the 2010 Melbourne Fringe – a new run of [intlink id="399" type="page"]Dungeon Crawl[/intlink] begins this week, with late shows Tuesday and Thursday, and an earlier show on Saturday. Saturday is already pretty full, so if you plan on coming along, be sure to book!
