If you’re champing at the bit to get a slice of the Dungeon Crawl action when we come to Sydney on November 8, now’s your chance to book your ticket online! Just head on over the the Laugh Garage site (pick the Sydney venue), or go straight to the booking form here.

We’re filling up our guest roster, too – as well as Dave Bloustien and Amanda Buckley, we now have improviser, comedian and NIDA directing grad Dave Harmon (Two Gentlemen of Lebowski)! Watch this space for news more guests.

Don’t forget, too, that this Sydney outing for Dungeon Crawl is co-produced by our excellent friends at Wit Large, Dave Bloustien’s monthly comedy room. For Wit Large #3 the theme is “Fiction”, and you can catch Dungeon Crawl Dungeon Master Ben McKenzie, young ginger genius Ryan Withers, and master of impro Rebecca De Unamuno – who will tell a completely improvised short story from your suggestions! Wit Large #3 is on at 5PM on Saturday, November 6, upstairs at gleeboks, and all tickets are $10 – check out the gleebooks web site for more info, and to pre-book!

Shaolin Punk, in association with Wit Large, is bringing Dungeon Crawl to the eastern-most state! Yes. your fearless Dungeon Master, Ben McKenzie, and his hireling “Dungeon Minion” Richard McKenzie will be bringing the anarchic, old-school fantasy adventure fun to the Laugh Garage for one night only! So make a note in your diary, Sydneysiders, to keep Monday November 8 free for all the monster killing, trap avoiding and loot collecting you can handle, with local adventurers Dave Bloustien (Good News Week, Wit Large) and Amanda Buckley (Impro Australia, Beaconsfield the Musical), plus others to be confirmed!

Oh, and Melbournians, don’t despair: we should have some very exciting Dungeon Crawl news for you quite soon…

It’s been a while since the Festival ended in Melbourne, and it’s time to say thank you to all the people who came along to +1 Sword, Dungeon Crawl and the Museum Comedy programme and Melbourne Museum. It was a great Festival for Shaolin Punk, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

+1 Sword has been such a lot of fun that we’re planning to tour it around Australia – and maybe beyond. At the moment nothing is set in stone, but we’re at least hoping to do shows in Sydney and Brisbane later in the year, and probably a short return season in Melbourne. Stay tuned for more info!

Meanwhile Museum Comedy is presenting its first ever interstate show this week, with the Mythic Creatures Comedy Tour at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney! One show only, this Saturday at 6 PM. Find out more at the Museum Comedy web site.
